Because of the high demand of membership our club received during Clubs Days, we will be available during Global Week (Sept 28- Oct 2) on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY in front of south side of the SUB (the side with the Aquatic Centre, Knoll, and BBQ). We will be available throughout the day from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Passionate about international culture? Interested in organizing events? Want to gain leadership experience? If so the Language Group Coordinator position is right for you!!!
The UBC International Business Club is hiring coordinators for our Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, French, Spanish and German Language Groups.
Responsibilities
• Planning culture and language related events to engage group members in learning a specific language and culture
• Establishing and maintaining partnerships between language groups and related cultural clubs
Expectations
• Be driven and self motivated
• Have in-depth understanding of a specific language and culture
• Effective English communication skills
• Peer support and event planning experience an asset

Global Ink is looking for submissions on the topic of economic development, but if you have an idea that's related to international business, not economic development, submit anyway and it might get used in a later edition. There is also going to be a contest with a cash prize of $250 for the article that is the most well-written and engaging. Articles, essays, and interviews will be accepted. Deadline is Oct. 15, 2009. If you are interested, leave your e-mails with Global Ink at our booth during Global Week on TUESDAY or WEDNESDAY or send a message to info@ibclub.ca and more information will follow.
